Good Day
I was listening to a conversation between a teenager and a child. They were talking about a crystal. The child's crystal had been scratched and nicked and the teenager was consoling the child. The teenager told the child that the scratch and nick added character to the crystal, reminding us that it is not perfect. I listened and thought and this was what came to me.
What is perfection? How do we measure perfection? By what standard can we measure perfection? The scratch and nick added uniqueness to the crystal. So now the crystal was no longer perfect? If the crystal is unique then there can be no standard with which to gauge perfection. If the crystal is unique and then because of its uniqueness there is no standard to measure perfection then it is already perfect. Its uniqueness defines its perfection.
If we use the idea that only things that fall within confined ideas, are perfect, then we will be hard pressed to find perfection. But if we see the uniqueness of things then we can see their already inherent perfection. If your view point allows then you can see that all things have uniqueness and then all things are already perfect.
Thank You
